National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI) is an umbrella programme conceived and developed by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship division, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, for nurturing ideas and innovations (knowledge-based and technology-driven) into successful startups.

BIRAC - BIG

Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a not-for-profit Section 8, Schedule B, Public Sector Enterprise, set up by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India as an Interface Agency to strengthen and empower the emerging Biotech enterprise to undertake strategic research and innovation, addressing nationally relevant product development needs.

BIRAC - LEAP

Launching Entrepreneurial Driven Affordable Products (LEAP) Fund assists potential biotech startups in piloting and commercializing their products & technologies enable them to raise venture capital investment.

BIRAC - SEED

Bio-incubation allows harnessing of the entrepreneurial potential of startups by providing access to infrastructure, mentoring as well as networking platforms that the startups could use during their fledgling days.

Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS)

Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) aims to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialization to enable these startups to graduate to a level where they will be able to raise investments from angel investors or venture capitalists or seek loans from commercial banks or financial institutions.

Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0)

Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) is a scheme for strengthening Technology Startups in selected areas of national concern by leveraging emerging technologies. Main objective is the promotion of tech entrepreneurship through financial and technical support to ICTE startups engaged in using emerging technologies

Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development and Growth (SAMRIDH)

The SAMRIDH Scheme of MeitY provide the startups which already have brilliant solutions and proof of concept for their product the more facilities to enhance their product using innovative technologies for the market with a solid business plan and enable them to obtain investments from venture capitalists and angel investors easily.

iDEX DIO Scheme

An ecosystem to foster innovation & technology development in Defence and Aerospace by engaging innovators & entrepreneurs to deliver technologically advanced solutions for modernizing Indian Military.

Social Innovation Programme for Products: Affordable & Relevant to Societal Health (SPARSH) of BIRAC

The scheme aims to invest in ideas and innovations that improve the health care of all Indians and provide affordable product development in the social sector. The social innovators identified under the Program will be supported in developing market‐based solutions that have the potential to bring healthcare breakthroughs to vulnerable populations.

MSME IDEA HACKATHON 2.0

Theme based Ideas in “MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0” are being invited from Students, Innovators, and MSMEs from all over India under the scheme of the Office of Development Commissioner – Incubation Component of MSME Innovative Scheme under the umbrella of MSME Champions Scheme.
