Professional Candidate Registration Programme at IIT Delhi (PCR)
PROFESSIONAL CANDIDATE REGISTRATION (PCR) AT IIT DELHI
List of courses offered for professional candidate registration (PCR) programme at IIT Delhi, along with application form & guidelines for the program. The classes for the next semester (I-Semester 2022-23) shall be – commencing from Wednesday, 3rd August, 2022. IIT Delhi understands that part-time post-graduate education eg M.Tech. requires a high intensity commitment of 3 years and a Ph.D programme even more involvement. Unfortunately, not everyone has the time for making such a long term commitment. Therefore, to facilitate focused educational need, a working professional can simply choose a course from nearly 400+ courses offered each semester and register for one/two. For the first time, it is possible to get the feel and benefit of IIT Delhi education with just an application form showing interest in a regular course at IIT Delhi (subject to approval by the Dept/Centre) for professional growth.
Eligibility Criteria: Professionals working in Industry, Research Organizations and Academic Institutes.
Educational background: Degree in Engineering or post graduate degree in a Science subject, Management etc. with relevant industry experience.
Fees:
Rs. 15,000/- per credit -for companies, private engineering institutes
Rs. 6,000/- per credit – for Govt. Educational Institute/Govt. Research Orgn.
(For example a 3-credit course shall entail a total Fee of Rs. 45,000/-). In addition, a refundable security deposit of Rs.2,000/- per-candidate is payable. Fees will be payable by DD/company cheque in favour of “FITT, IIT Delhi” along with GST @ 18%
Certification
All professional candidates attending courses must appear in all tests and also submit all class assignments. Based on the performance he/she will be awarded certificate of satisfactory completion of the course. (Please note that the credentials of PCR courses will not be applicable for pursuing M.Tech/MBA/MSc./Ph.D or any other degree program/s and will also not lead to any degree at IIT Delhi. There is no provision of grades under the PCR program for the registered course). The classes will be for twice/thrice in a week for one hour as per timetable.
Semester Duration:– August–November 2022
A professional candidate under this category is a candidate sponsored by his employer to register for one/two course(s) for his/their self-development/knowledge up graduation. He/she could be employed in industry, Govt. organisation, research laboratory etc.
Submission: Kindly submit the filled-in application form(s) as soon as possible latest by 25th July, 2022 for further processing at our end.
