Call for Proposals from 17th February 2022 to 25th February 2022
4th edition of “Batch of 1969 Innovation Fellow” Award.
Award : Stipend of Rs. 1.00 Lakh/month for 1 year.
Eligibility : IIT Delhi’s graduating student irrespective of any discipline/program (UG/PG/PhD) wanting to continue with his/her academic project to convert it into a ‘Proof of Concept’ and development of prototype can apply for the award. The ultimate objective should be to create a product/process through technology transfer/incubation.
Selection criteria shall include : Innovation, feasibility, entrepreneurial interest, investment potential, expected impact etc.
Beneficiary : Once accepted, disbursal of the stipend shall start on completion of academic program/submission of thesis. Support to the incubation proposal from another agency/scheme is desirable but not necessary for consideration of the Award. Alternatively, the applicant should have letter of support from his/her present faculty adviser stating that the applicant can continue working using Institute’s infrastructure and resources to pursue the proposed innovation project.
FITT will guide the awardee in preparing a business/technical plan and pitching for investments.
Initial screening shall be done by FITT and final selection for the Award shall be done by an expert committee.
