About | Tech.Future Hackathon

Tech.Future aims to support promising entrepreneurs to grow from the R&D phase to developing workable prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for Industry 5.0 use cases. Tech.Future hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide innovators with a platform to solve some of the most pressing problems. We expect the co-creators to benefit from the collaborative landscape at IIT Delhi.

We look to promote out-of-the-box thinking among young techpreneurs leveraging IoT, AI, Blockchain, Robotics, etc., in our focus areas.

The Tech.Future Hackathon is organised by Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT - IIT Delhi), supported by MeitY Startup Hub under MeitY's Tech.Future Hackathon scheme, and co-organiser in partnership with IIIT Delhi, Chitkara Innovation Foundation & Amity Innovation Incubator, Gurugram. Organised in collaboration with our community partner Azure Developer Community supported by Microsoft Azure.

  3. Challenge 3: Cyber Security
    • Fraud Management: Innovating against digital identity theft, business email compromise, and insider threat in a cloud-based world
  4. Challenge 4: Drone
    • In-flight Charging for Drones
    • Automate Security & Surveillance Operations Using Drones
  5. Challenge 5: Computer Vision
    • Computer vision-based techniques to detect cracks or swelling in industrial plants or equipment
    • Computer Vision: Image Quality Analysis

Participation in the hackathon is free!

The organizing team will approve and confirm your participation. Shortlisted teams will receive a confirmation email and it will reflect on user dashboard.

The entry should be functional for review by the judges.

About FITT

Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi has been the vanguard of knowledge transfer activities from academia since its inception in 1992. This techno-commercial organization from academia is counted amongst the successful such organizations. FITT provides superior program management services and is steadily increasing its operational landscape. The varied roles of FITT can be seen in enabling innovations and technopreneurship, business partnerships, technology development, consultancy, collaborative R&D, technology commercialization, development programs, and corporate memberships among others. These roles are necessitated by the key agenda of the foundation to showcase the institute’s “intellectual ware” to the industry, thereby unlocking its knowledge base and inculcating industrial relevance in teaching and research at IIT Delhi.
